Dr Daniel Varghese has dedicated his life’s work to assisting people overcome the difficulties associated with mental illness and as a result live fulfilling and meaningful lives. He provides medium to long term psychotherapeutic treatment for individuals experiencing difficulties in their relationship with others and their sense of self. Dr Daniel Varghese finds examining the impact of past experiences on current circumstances to be a highly therapeutic tool.
Graduating from Medicine at the University of Queensland, Dr Daniel Varghese specialised as a psychiatrist in both Brisbane and Melbourne before being appointed as Consultant Psychiatrist to Princess Alexandra Hospital, a position held for eight years.
Dr Daniel Varghese is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). He was formerly the chairperson of the Queensland branch of the RANZCP and has considerable experience in the training of future psychiatrists.
Dr Daniel Varghese has admitting rights to Toowong Private Hospital and is able to provide comprehensive treatment including access to individual and group programs.
